SIFT is nearing the end of the first phase of the NASA SBIR X1.01SAFE-P project for Jeremy Frank (650-604-2524). SIFT has proposed to design and develop an automatic verification technology that will validate and verify command scripts, preventing the potential misalignment between SOPs and executable platform control scripts. By “understanding” both the SOPs and the command scripts, the System for Assurance of Flight Executable Procedures (SAFE-P) will ensure that the scripts comply with SOPs and will highlight differences for the operators, so that they can double-check their work and confirm any deviations from standard procedures.
